How do I make a reservation on-line?

It's quick and easy: You can access our Reservations section from all pages of our web site. All you need to do is enter your arrival and departure dates and the number of persons, after which you will be shown a list of room types and rates to choose from. Your reservation can be completed in a few simple steps:
- Choose the rate and the room type you wish to reserve
- Specify the type of accommodation required, if your children are travelling with you and the total number of persons
- Complete the reservation form with the personal information required and your credit card details. You will find our cancellation policies on our web site
Once you have completed all the steps, you will receive an e-mail containing your confirmation code, which should be quoted in all correspondence between you and the hotel. This same code will be requested should you need to cancel your reservation.

Why do I need to specify my credit card details?

Your credit card details are required in order to guarantee your reservation. No deposit will be taken prior to your arrival.
In accordance with hotel policy, a penalty of one night's room rate will be applied in the event of of no-shows or late cancellations.

What is the cancellation policy of the Hotel?

Bookings must be cancelled by 6PM on the day prior to arrival (local hotel time) to avoid a penalty of one night's room rate.
A cancellation fee of one night's room rate will be applied in the event of a cancellation after this deadline or in the event of a no-show.
If you cancel your internet reservation within the established time limits you will receive a cancellation number. If you fail to do so, please contact the booking office.

When will I receive confirmation of my reservation?

Your online reservation is accepted as soon as you enter your credit card details. You will receive your reservation code and a summary of your reservation via e-mail.
With regards to availability requests, our booking office will get back to you within 2 working days.

Will I receive a written confirmation to my on-line reservation?

Yes, you will receive a summary of your reservation, together with your reservation code, to your email address.

Is there any additional cost if I decide to make my reservation using this website?

No, no reservation fee is applied for using our reservations system.

Does the Grand Hotel de la Minerve accept all credit cards?

The credit cards accepted as a guarantee are: American Express, Visa, Mastercard and Diner’s.

The credit card details I gave to guarantee my reservation are valid, but the system doesn't accept them: Why?

Please check whether:
-The card type is accepted by the hotel
-The credit card expires before your arrival date
-The credit card limit has been exceeded
-The details are correct but they have not been accepted because of a system failure

How can I make special requests regarding my stay?

Special requests can be made when booking your reservation online by compiling the “special requests” field on the reservations form. You may ask for a specific floor, view or room, both for your reservations and for availability requests.
The hotel will do its best to accommodate your requests, however, such requests are subject to availability on arrival and thus cannot be confirmed until the moment you check-in.

Our children will be travelling with us: Do we have to inform the hotel?

Yes. Children under 3 stay free when sharing their parents' room.
On request the hotel can provide a cot for your room at no extra cost.
Extra beds are also available (charges apply) and must be reserved before arrival, as not all rooms are suitable.

Where can we find directions to the hotel?

You will find directions to the hotel in the “How to reach us” section of this web site.
For specific transfer requests from and to the airport, please be so kind as to contact the hotel directly.
No complimentary shuttle bus service from / to the airport is provided by the hotel

How can I reserve a room at a discounted rate?

You will find our discounted rates on this web site. Simply choose the rate you wish to reserve from those listed.

At what time can I check in to my room?

Rooms are guaranteed from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival onwards and upon departure guests should check out by 12:00 PM.
If you only need to check your luggage, a deposit is available for guest use.

Our pet usually travels with us: Are we going to have to leave it at home?

Small dogs with a maximum weight of 3 kg are usually welcome. We do however ask you to inform our booking office in advance, as not all our rooms are suitable for your little friend.
We are sorry to inform you that all other pets will have to stay at home.

What is the best way to change or cancel a reservation?

At the moment it is not possible to change a reservation on-line, so for any variations please contact the hotel directly.

Can I reserve more than one room at a time?

Yes. Enter your arrival and departure dates to check availability, then choose the rate type desired. During the subsequent steps of the reservation you will be given the option to book one or more rooms.

There are no rooms available at the Grand Hotel de la Minerve. Can you suggest some alternative options?
